Thank you for visiting, but the Gay Hong Kong community information portal is no longer available.
I have been told that the University computer center (ITSC) recently received one (1) complaint from an alumnus about this site being located on the campus network. That complaint triggered an investigation, and ITSC determined that this site was in violation of the following section of their Acceptable Usage Policy:
It was explained to me that while the actual computer serving this site belongs to me personally, and resides in my rented flat in the University's Staff Quarters, the use of the campus network was inappropriate for this content.
So I have taken that content down, and redirected all of its page requests to this message.
Please note that I have no significant objection to any of this, especially since the site is no longer needed and I have been wondering what to do with it. While the Gay Hong Kong community information portal was heavily accessed years ago, for the past few years it has been very rarely updated, as there are other sites which have taken on the mantel of information provision and are doing a much better job at it than I ever could.
It has been a lot of fun, and I thank you for your interest and support over the past 19 years.
